Physical Data:
* TEKPAK's plant site includes 180 acres and over 180,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space.
* Additional offsite storage is available.
* Our manufacturing areas and warehouse are 100% air-conditioned and heated.
* All plant and warehouse areas fall under rigid pest and rodent control requirements, regardless of product.
* TEKPAK's operations are separated into segregated operation areas for medical products, dry food blending and filling, consumer product blending and filling, industrial blending and filling, and rug & room deodorizer blending and filling.
* TEKPAK's spiral wound container manufacturing operation is structured to support each of the focused product areas.
* We operate with full environmental, sanitation and hygiene control for employees equipment and facilities.
* Our manufacturing operations and procedures have been (and continue to be) successfully audited by audit teams representing the US domestic leaders for each of the areas we represent.
Food Product Dry Filling:
* TEKPAK utilizes state of the art isolated filling rooms for food filling.
* Our positive pressure, individually HVAC controlled blending, hopper feed and product filling environments assure consistent product appearance and odor.
* Our volumetric and weight controlled fillers provide the high process capability needed to assure consistent reliable fills and tight specification control while avoiding damage to sensitive product.
* SPC control of filling, 100% online weight verification, and metal detection are an everyday part of our operation.
Dry Food Product Blending Services:
* We can source your raw materials and custom blend product to your specifications.
* We offer microbial testing, nutritional analysis, and a complete post blending documentation package to assure the product produced meets your design and quality requirements.
* If your product is sensitive to rough treatment, our blending area is equipped to provide reliable, consistent blending with the lowest possible product damage.
Kosher:
* Kosher marking (Parve, dairy or meat) of dry filled products is available through any of the Kosher marking services.
* We have experience with "Circle U", "K", "Circle K" and "Kd" marking requirements.
* We maintain a good relationship with the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, San Francisco Council of Jewish Congregations and other Rabbinical Supervisors.
* We have the experience and contacts to obtain whatever level of Kosher marking is desired for your product.
* Kosher marking services are offered on a per contract basis and are subject to additional charges.
Medical Products:
* TEKPAK is the worldwide leader in the production of disposable vaginal applicators.
* The principal use for vaginal applicators is for yeast infection treatment products and other antibiotic or hormone therapy.
* In addition to applicator production, we produce disposable mouthpieces for respiratory testing and therapy, protector tubes for medical devices and paper based medical product containers.
* Our medical products area operates under full device or drug GMPs as required for your product.
* Full product accountability, material control, line clearance, inprocess inspection, final assembly inspection and documented release procedures are a normal part of our operation.
Co-packing Services:
* We produce display packs, multi-product packs, tubs, point of purchase, floor displays, header cards, whatever.
* We can take your products and complete the packaging for you.
* Our co-packing customers include food products, confection and candy products, medical products, consumer and industrial products.
Warehouse Facilities:
* Our warehouse space is 100% temperature controlled.
* All plant areas, including warehouses, fall under strict rodent and pest controls to assure product integrity and safety is maintained.
